I have been wondering and doing research as to how Royale's were pinstriped when they left the factory. I have looked at original period photos, print ads and some pictures of original unrestored cars. I now have a coupe and a sedan. The coupe was restored in Sweden and the pinstriping is gold colored tape. That will be coming off soon. I have a fellow car club member (local) that can restripe so I want to know what to tell him. My sedan appears to wear the factory paint and has a lot of pinstriping. I have not found pictures or drawings yet that have anything close to how the sedan is done. The coupe is close to some pictures and adds I have seen, just not done correctly. I am hoping some of you can supply picture proof of what the group may believe to be original and correct. I am also wondering if like some of the other options REO gave customers as to paint scheme choices if they might not have done the same when it comes to pinstriping. I will attach what I have for pictures of my stuff.
tim: Mark my hood is complete and you are welcome to examine when you come over to Michigan. Also, the chrome strip or stainless stops at the rear of hood. Does not go to the windshield

davidsnow: Just saying hello as a new member. Thank you to John Phillips for reaching out and letting me know about the forum. I live in Wisconsin and have been in the REO club for several years. My wife and I currently are serving as custodians of REO merchandise.

harley: My attempt at creating a thread with an attachment of the Royale stationary does not seem to allow the attachment to open for view. What did I not do correctly? This is my first time on a forum so it is all new to me. (Harley)

coley: Hi John and Mark. Coley here. Making more REO door handles. I need to find a supplier for the lock cylinder and keys for the outer locking door handles for a 1930 flying cloud and others. Or a handle with keys.
